I have had a boise radio abdcd olayer for some time and know very little about its operations. today i played a cd and left the house and expected it to stop as it usually does. however, it keeps on playing ...in fact it's been playing for about four hours. what did i do? it has never happened before.

Is it a factory radio? If so disconnect your positive battery cable for 30 seconds. It will reset your computer upon hookup. If it is an aftermarket radio then usually it has a detachable face. Behind that you will find a little hole. That is the reset button just for the radio.

Loading mechanism fault. Contact any service technician. The set shoud have to take out, and the loading mechanism should be troubleshoted. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

I havena't done anything much except to take all the cd's out and have put in the 1st which always worked fine. Then I put in a 2nd and at first it did not want to work. It sounded like a cell phone breaking up. I turned it off completely. And this a.m. both are doing fine. I will try the 3rd and 4th a little later today and hopefully they will work.

sorry mate, looks like cd 5 is damaged goods...... wheter you damaged it or not, can't say....

however, make sure. when you try to play cd, that the cd button, nearest display was pressed as just putting in a cd isn't automatically taking control of the cd function like in other cd players. ( that is to say you have to diliberately select CD mode to play cd's)

if you fancy a load of electronic messing and visits to radio shack i am sure you can repair it if broken,
or a second hand cd unit could be obtained elsewhere on line.

I had a simular problem ,the only thing you might try is a cd cleaner disk that has a little brush on it. might be a dust build up on the optical eye. or it just worn out. the optical eye in my opion is sensitive and hitting big bumps with a cd playing might throw it out of whack...they can make like a little bluetooth or cartridge that holds all of any music cd or 30 cds....it would be pure electronics...but i guess it compares to oil co. that wont put out the electric car..jobs and money is what its about. you get my point.
