If everything else is working you can first try to download the latest editing of Safari (through another browser of course). Install it - or upgrade it.

If that fails - completely uninstall Safari, restart, and then reinstall the whole package.

If that fails, repeat the last instruction but also delete all the Safari folders from your program files and reinstall.

Good luck

I use Windows 7 and I try to use Safari. But everytime I open Safari it says ''Safari has stopped working.'' What do I do to fix this?

Please open EventViewer and provide error information from over there. Without that I'd only suggest to remove Safari entirely, reboot, clean up registry from Safari leftovers, reboot and then reinstall.

Change homepage on mac

Your homepage is the page that normally appears when you first open Safari.

  1. Open Safari if it is not already open.
  2. Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click General.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To use the page in the current Safari window or tab, click "Set to Current Page."
    • To use another page, type its address in the Homepage field.
    • To use a blank page, delete the contents of the Homepage field so that the field is blank.
  4. If you also want the homepage to appear whenever you open a new Safari window, choose Homepage from the "New windows open with" pop-up menu.
Good Luck!

Safari will not even open

First before doing anything turn your computer off, leave it off for about 2-5 minutes, then restart.
After that make sure you are using the current Safari, (if it doesn't open then skip to the next step) if you are not update immediately.
If Safari still doesn't open, you are going to have to uninstall completely and then reinstall. Make sure you are getting Safari from Apple.com and no where else, just to reduce the risk of viruses, as well as receiving incorrect information.
After the install you will be prompted to restart the computer, make sure you do this now, because if you do not, Safari will not install properly.
After this Safari should work with absolutely no problem! (unless it is your computer's firewall, which then is something else)

We i try to open it it says safari close unexpectly

Click for it to *NOT* try to re-open the web-pages that were open when Safari "crashed". Then, close Safari. Re-open Safari,
and you should get the "normal" start-up.

My apple safari has given me a corrupt message

Without knowing what the message is you are getting, I would suggest you reset Safari. Open Safari, click the Word Safari on top left, then from the pop-down menu click Reset Safari.

Safari can't open home page, which is google

Hello Please go to the safari menu - preferences - general, and enter your preferred homepage here, If this doesn't helo, please click on "reset safari" in the safari menu (it will reset all safari's settings, but will result in your safari's preferences loss). You can also try to "empty cache" from the safari menu, you won't loose anything doing that. Best regards
