Go to http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310

and select the data you want. The software is down loadable. make sure that your router is not a B or C version as the one shown is just for the WBR-1310. It also has setup instructions if you want to learn to do it your self rather than default to setup software.

Lost my cd for wbr 1310 wireless router. I need to install my router to my new computer. Need help please.

You do not need an installation CD to configure the D-Link wireless router

Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)

You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings.

You now configure the wireless card in your computer with the D-Link's wireless settings so the computer can connect to the D-Link via the wireless.

To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

How to setup d-link wbr 1310

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

I need to reinstall the driver for dlink but cant find the disk is there any free driver download site?

you should not need a CD to use the router - Routers do NOT need drivers. All the CD would do is set up the router - which you can do manually The product manual is available here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310 goto the setup section where it explains how to setupthe router manually

My WBR-1310 doesn't do wireless to my laptop.

theres a couple of version of this router http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=WBR-1310&tab=3 I'm using the manual from here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310
on a working PC download and install this program http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the wireless signals being broadcast - see if the router is actually broadcasting - if it is detected on your PC then it may be that 1) the firewall is blocking access or 2) the security code is entered wrong - -log into the router and remove the wireless security and see if you can now detect

Do i need to install the d-link wbr-1310 to my new laptop to get it operational. it indicates that there is a wireless connection but is requesting additional information.

I think you have windows vista on your computer. When you try to connect to the wireless network it will ask you for additional log on information. I believe you wireless network is secured. You don't need to install the router on your wireless laptop. All you need to do is connect to the wireless network. First check the wireless settings of the router. Once you get the wireless settings on the router, add the wireless network manually.

Need to download a cd for my WBR-1310 wireless router

If you can't find a CD just visit the D-Link support page for your router and you can download most of the stuff that was on the CD. This would include the product manual, the latest firmware and helpful FAQ's.

This page is located at http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=WBR-1310 .

I have installed wbr-1310 to main puter but cannot install on lap

Make sure the wireless capabilities are turned on on your router.
On your computer scan for available networks and it should detect the router.
Once detected it will ask you for the Passkey/WEP/Secutity Key.
You should have a note of this when you originally set up your wireless connection.
If not then your computer network set up wizard may 'kick in' and just follow the instruction.
Remember to keep a note of your PASSKey/WEP as you will require it in future

Good luck
