A dehumidifier will not operate satisfactory in a room that is
below 65 degrees F. At this temperature it will become necessary to operate the
dehumidifying coil below freezing temperatures in order to reduce the relative humidity to
a reasonable valve. Frost on coils usually will appear. I would imaging that the humidity is already lower than the dehumidifier could get it down to. that's why it reads "Lo" on the display.
