Laptop is a Dell Inspiron - islx.jpg

There should be a switch on the lower right side of the Dell Inspiron. That should click forward and backwards. Clicking it forward "turns it on", Clicking it backwards "turns it off". Let me know if it works!

Hello, I have Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop and wireless Internet doesn't connect. I see the wifi light is ON and I see in Internet connection it shows my profile as connected. But if i browse internet does...

Please connect your computer directly to your DSL / Cable modem and check if your internet is working fine, if not turn off your modem and restart after a minute or two.

Now check again if the internet is working by directly connecting your laptop to your modem. if it is not working, contact ISP. if it is working, turn on your router and check if your wireless connection is working.

If you wireless connection is still not working, please check if you have plugged the modem to the internet / WAN port behind your router.

Also try logging to your router page (refer to manual for procedure) and try changing the wireless channel.

I hav dell inspiron 1525 and i installed new windows vista but i couldnt connect to internet because it says "install wireless networking hardware and verify that correct drivers are loadedcan you please...

I presume that Vista has just been installed and connecting wireless. Check if the Wireless switch is on (edge on the right side. IF no change, install the software driver that is on Drivers/Utilities CD that came with your computer. Please comment if the information has been helpful. Thank you and regards.

This generally indicates a lack of connectivity with your network or internet service provider's network, whether it's wired or wireless. Check to make sure you have an established connection to your internet service provider.

Dell Inspiron 1525 not connecting wirelessly to Sky broadband

If your wireless router is configured with SSID, encryption, MAC address filtering (if enabled) etc. then the Dell wireless card needs to be configured with these settings to allow it to communicate with the wireless router.
Check the settings on your PC's wireless settings, and configure the Dell the same way.

Dear Sir, Have Dell laptop Inspiron 1525 with Vista loaded....but I need Win XP-2 OS on it...CD of which I have but don't have the laptop drivers compatible with XP. Can you pls guide me how & where to...

If your laptop is still under warranty, installing WinXP will void the warranty. It's very tricky. I'd suggest getting another PC with Internet connection and search and download drivers as needed for your 1525. Good luck.
