Right click your Start Menu button and choose Properties
Click the Start Menu Tab
I use the Classic option
Click the Customize button
About 3 lines down there is a checkbox 'Display Run' which you should tick, and the click OK
Cmd.exe, also known as the command prompt, is the command-line interpreter on Windows PCs. You do not need to download it it is already a part of Win XP.
All you need to do is click on Start, select Run and in the dialog box that opens type "cmd" and press Enter. A command prompt window will open.
I think I need a tweeked comman.com that can put out the long environment variable by using the old faithful SET envar=%envar%PLUSMYVERYLONGENVARMANYATIMES
I want to use a different command interpreter on my win XP other than command.com which Volkov commander uses how do I do that then/
We need a different command.com from the one that is in system32 for 16 bit aplications please provide meaningful answers! thank You! We know that win XP has cmnd.exe!
