Overloaded player with music

I down loaded to much music on my Jet and now it says I need 4MB free space and then shuts down. I used the reset button and that seemed just to shut the Jet off. I have tryed to delete the music by getting into the files of the Jet, but that did not work as well. Do you have anyother suggestions for me?

I held the reset button down for about 15 seconds and the player did reset; my problem now is it's not changing songs or the radio won't come up

When you reset the jet be sure to hold down the reset button for at least 5 - 10 seconds.

What's free 4mb of space mean?

if your device tells you that it is a 512Mb that is the total space on the device, if it is telling you 4mb of space it means there is only 4 more mega bytes available for you to store music, information, etc. some songs take up to 9 or 10 Mb so just do your math. and that is the number of songs you can load to your device.

if it works for you, don't forget to rate me
thx

Profiling requires 4mb free space; reformat required

1. Disconnect the player.

2. Download the new driver from http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/

3. Install the software on your computer, then run it.

4. Reset your player by either pressing the reset button or removing the AA-battery from the player.

5. While holding down the "Play" key on your player, connect it to the PC via the USB cable. Release the "Play" key when you see the progress bar moving and "initializing" text. If you cannot see the "initializing" text, please disconnect your player and try again.

6. Click the "Start" button to upgrade your player

Profiling requires 4mb free space

Straiten the end of a paperclip and push it into the reset hole on the back. When you turn it on, it should operate as normal without any data loss.

Profiling requires 4mb free space

Found a small pinhole on the back of the device. In small lettering it says reset. Carefully insert a pin and light push when you feel it's hit a dead end. It resets the issue and you can resume using your device. Leave it up to a girl to find that and figure it out. lol
