Instruction manual needed for Whistler 1660

I have inhrited a Whistler 1660 from a friend,(it was her fathers and he has just passed away). I can not It is labled 34 23814 and FCC ID:HSXWH09.
I am unable to use it as I do not have a manual to explain the buttons and code letters such as Ka which it is throwing at me. Can you help?

The volume control is not a common "off the shelf" part and it may not be found in electronic part stores. Have you tried moving the volume control rapidly high and low? Something this will "clean" the contacts in the control.

Please I need a timer for a Potterton timer EP2003
Dear dm:
Sory to know about your father.
I think the best to do in this situation , if you can afford it, is to look for a certified electrician to take care of that timer . May be you will have to buy a new, "user friendly timer" to control your water system.

New speaker
if you have an old cordless phone like a uniden or cell phone you can take the speaker out and attach it to your radar detector it works just fine in mine,no problems. you might have to remove the speaker housing if it has one. Justy be real careful not to puncture the speaker as i almost did.
