Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
On my Elgin alarm clock, you just push the nap button and it will add 15 minute increments for a nap. I haven't figured out how to turn it off if I change my mind or wake up earlier than I set it.
The trick was to press the power button (the circle with a line through its top) on the very top of the device until neither NOAA by itself, nor NOAA together with that power
button icon are showing. Then press Menu until one of the alarms shows up. Then use the up or down arrows until -:-- shows; that indicates the alarm is disabled. Then
choose exit. The bell for that alarm should disappear.
It kind of makes sense that you do not want to be dealing with NOAA in any way, since the clock is totally separate. It would have been nice if the manual had explained this.
