Canon IR 2000 copier is showing System Error E000

Hello,

From my searches online the first course of action seems to be resetting the printer in service mode.

I attempted to clear it in service mode:
1. Press ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS, #
2. Go to #7 Printer and press OK
3. Go to #4 Printer Reset and press OK
4. Yes = ( > )

However, when I press the yes (>) nothing happens.

Does anyone know why this is not working?

Ir 2000, system error E000

The main thermistor reading does not reach 40°C 14 sec after the fixing
heater goes ON. (fixing low temperature error)

If E000 is indicated, the RAM on the image processor will
retain the error memory of the fixing assembly after the power switch has
been turned off an then on. Execute the following in service mode, and
turn off and then on the power switch to clear the memory: #7
PRINTER>#4 PRINTER RESET>YES=(*).

Entering service mode: press "aditional function" and after "#(ID)"
