Normally, when a washer will spin without cloths, the washer is doing all the basics correctly. But when you add cloths, which means adding weight, the washer will not, then its a suspension rods issue. The suspension rods absorb the weight and allow the washer to spin.

Hi there! Universal Glass plates are available from a good local appliance spares shop. Please note that size of the plate, the coupler (The centre connection point to the plate) and the ring size (on which the plate rests) are all important to the correct function of the plate. Take these along for correct matching if you can or they may even keep your particular Model and Brand. Best Wishes and Good Luck, JUS004
