SOURCE: I have a Microsoft wireless desktop 3000 v2.0

Call Microsoft parts replacement 800-360-7561 and tell them what happened and they will help you. You will need to get the Product ID from the back of the keyboard: 01036-545-7152051-01006. It is not possible to get the USB transceiver separately.

Where is the pairing button on Microsoft wireless keyboard 6000 v3.0 or does it need a USB plug

The Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 v3.0 comes with a USB transceiver that you need to plug into your computer's USB port to connect the keyboard to your computer. The keyboard and the transceiver are pre-paired from the factory, so you don't need to pair them again unless you replace the transceiver or the keyboard. If you do need to pair the keyboard and the transceiver again, you can follow these steps: 1. Insert the USB transceiver into your computer's USB port. 2. Turn on the keyboard. 3. Press and hold the "Connect" button on the underside of the keyboard for a few seconds until the green light on the transceiver starts flashing. 4. Press the "Connect" button on the USB transceiver. 5. The green light on the transceiver should stop flashing and stay on, indicating that the keyboard and the transceiver are now paired. Note that there is no separate pairing button on the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 v3.0 itself. hope it would be of use to you

Bluetooth device not working and not detected in device manager

Hi,
Good day. In regards to your issue when it comes to your bluetooth device you can try the following steps. Usually these will resolve your issue
1. If your Bluetooth device uses batteries, make sure that your batteries are charged. 2. If your Bluetooth device uses a transceiver that connects to your computer through a USB port, try connecting the transceiver to another USB port on your computer. 3. If there are multiple Bluetooth devices connected to your computer, temporarily remove the devices that you are not troubleshooting. If there are additional USB devices, try removing any USB devices that you do not have to have installed during the troubleshooting process. If you h have multiple devices that are connected by using USB, this can interfere with a Bluetooth transceiver. 4. Verify that the Bluetooth device that you are troubleshooting is powered on and that it is enabled.

If these steps didn't resolve your concern, you can try to update your windows version like installing updates that can be found on the microsoft.com website or go to http://update.microsoft.com. You also have the option to contact HP for them to help you with issue but most probably they'll be charging you for this specific problem. Hope this information will be helpful in resolving your concern. Have a great day and thanks for using Fixya.

I have a Microsoft wireless mouse that uses a 2.4 GHz USB style thumb stick transceiver to communicate w/my laptop. That transceiver is damaged & cuts in & out. My question is, can I buy a new 2.4...

Sorry! you can't. Because, although its 2.4Ghz, a special code is included in the signal so it won't mix up with any other wireless devices.

pls. vote for better service... Thank you
