ND is not draining, the washer probably has water in it and won't open. In which case you need to open the little tiny panel on the front of the washer and pull out the little hose and drain the washer and then clean our the filter next to the hose. NB means not balanced and the clothes have become unbalanced, move the clothes around and start it back up. If it happens a lot the washer is not on even ground and needs to be leveled.

Nd = no drain. Either drain pump is clogged or defective. Too many suds can also cause this problem.

From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked. The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels & a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the tub to pump hose.

The ND error code means NO DRAIN. ,

The usually reason the door remains locked once the cycle is over is because the filter screen on the drain pump is blocked so not all the water could drain out...the door lock is tied into the pump and until the pump tells the control board that the wate r is out the door will not unlock. This tip i wrote will show ya how to take apart the washer to clean the filter on the pump.

The ND error code means NO DRAIN, why it comes up is because the computer thinks that within the normal times it takes to drain the water from the tub it hasnt drained in that time.
Things that will cause it to not drain in the normal time is oversudsing becuase too much detergent was added.
Or something such as lint in the drain pump filter screen restricting the water flow into the pump

Verify that the door is closed properly, push the "Off" button, and wait two minutes. The door should unlock and the error code will disappear. nd = No Drain the pump is not working.open the door on the bottom right on the front of the machine. you will find a small black hose with a plastic plug in the end of it. it will pull out about 6in depending on you situation you take a length of garden hose and drain it outside or you can use a pan, obviously the garden hose will have to drain to a lower point than the hose coming out of the washer. You will drain about 3Gal of water,once the water is below the water sensor level you will be able to power it on and the door will unlock. The other twist lock to the left of the small drain hose is the filter for trapping items that may clog the pump.Ultimatley the front off the washer will have to be removed to clean or replace the pump. I have actually run our washer by hooking up a primer bulb and hose for an outboard motor.and pumped the water into a laundry tube between cycles. You can find that hose an bulb in the sporting goods dept at Walmart
