Sony Cybershot w55 flash speed and recording folder

The flash on my camera flashes like 3 times before taking a picture and it is not even that clear. How do I change this to only flash once? Also, there is a 101 (recording folder) button that will not go away. How do I get this to go away?

One flash is for the camera the set the exposure the second is to miminize red-eye the third is the actual flash. All digital cameras do it, you can only turn off the red-eye flash.

I have a sony cybershot dsc w55 with error e:91:01. i have pressed the reset button and initialised the camera numerous times. the error is removed but the camera will not take a picture in auto or p mode...

E:91:01 is an error code that indicates problem with flash unit circuit in camera.
Flash unit board will be replaced to resolve this problem and temporary fix is to set flash Off quickly, before error could appear after initializing camera, hope this info will help you.
Thanks.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 and when I go to take a picture with the flash on, it doesn't work and I get this error that says E:91:01. It also makes this quiet ticking noise when it's on. I reset...

The immediate solution is that your flash unit within or the triggger or control circuit to the flsh is fault.
now since thisis within and just opening wont solve issues, it is advice able that you have the camera checked for errors, to estimate for the fault .
This might save time and energy.

Flash !

Turn off the flash on indoor pictures. also your ccd could be acting up. and it needs to be changed. The ccd is connected to the back of the lens. and it converts light to data. Hope this helps
