Problem with the Bosch HME9760 / HME9750 800 Watts Microwave Oven Small pop when i went to open door, and now looks dead. 13amp main fuse all ok, so i assume its an internal thermal fuse or something worse. Where is the thermal cutout/fuse on this model ?? Is it 8 or 10amp ??

I have taken of case and traced mains lead, but do not see any fuses. The mains leads go to a transformer/capacitor and then go 2 seperate ways into small connectors (prt no 03 2539 limiter temperture). I have searched and searched but am unable to find a service manual for your microwave. There must be an internal fuse link as someone could cut the 13A plug off and hard wire it to a ring main.
The cause will be either a jammed door interlock switch or the transformer.
It is so annoying when the simplest of equipment is out of our reach!
Maybe the fuse is built into the transformer as most transformers in HI FI and power supplies use an internal fuse.
Try relisting your query as I can go no further at the moment.
