Look at the upper radaitor follow it back to were it clamps to the engine . This part is called the goose neck the thermostat is located under this part. Its not a hard job to do you need to drain some antifreeze not all of it a couple qts open the pitcook in the bottem of the radiatorcacth it in a bucket because you can reuse it if its clean. Take the clamp off the goose neck twist the hose to break the seal move it out of the way Remove the two bolts that hold the neck down you will have to break that seal to pry it gently with a screw driver handle that fits into the water inlet remove it and you can lift the thermostat out. Clean bolth gasket surfaces all of the old gasket needs to be removed you can use a razor blade try not to nick the surfaces these parts are aluminun and if not completly clean may crack when tightening or leak . Install new tstat new gasket a must you can use some sealer that helps to hold the gasket in place install bolts to 18 ft lbs don't try to over tighten the gasket will make the seal.Install the hose and clamp add the antifreeze start and check for leaks. And antifreeze is good for 5 or 6 years or 100,000 miles witch ever comes first then need to be replaced most people think it lasts for ever trust me it dosn't and yours is comeing up on 6 years Good luck
