I want to down load updates for HP essential but when I press updates It says "Vista users do not press update" get down loads from www.hp.com/go/vistaupdate but according to google there is no such thing. Can you help?

I have the same problem. I tried to prit something and got the message that I needed to download an update before I could proceed. The download was presumably available by accessing it thru www.hp.com/go/vistaupdate but nothing happened when I tried that. What's the problem?

I agree with Jodah. What is going up with this download?. I just bought a new HP SR 55011P computer and I can't open a disc with pictures bought at Walgreens. At the store told me the

I just purchased Spysweeper last week. It was working fine, and now it sits in "loading" mode without fully loading. I also had Microsoft Security Essentials (free) running, so uninstalled it...

There was a compatibility problem that existed between Webroot's Spy Sweeper program and Microsoft's Vista operating system. The issue occurred after an update Microsoft automatically delivered to Vista machines using its automatic windows updating function on January 8, 2008. The bug was fixed on February 12th, 2008. If you have automatic updates set on your Vista machine, the bug will have been corrected by now automatically.
Other issues may be: Check for firewall issues if you still have problems. Temporarily switch the firewall off and see if performance improves. Add exemptions to your firewall if you find it's the cause. SpySweeper.exe, SpySweeperUI.exe, ssu.exe and WrConsumerService.exe should be added and allowed to access the internet.

HP Printer Continually Drops Off Vista OS

Click on Start -> All Programs -> HP -> HP Update and run this utility. Last month, HP released an update that directly addresses this issue with the PhotoSmart series printers and computers using Vista. You should install any updates listed here, including the connectivity update.

Did you download the Vista driver from HP? Here's a link:

7410 W/Vista downloads

You will need to uninstall the printer and any software you have already installed first.

I noticed that there is also a critical update for Vista users near the bottom of the list.

How are you doing today? Sorry for the late reply. I was searching for the update since lat 2 days and I finally found it.
