Hello, I am having problems with my Dell 3100MP projector. When I try to turn it on buttons on top start blinking green but projector's bubl is not turning on. Lights are blinking until the cord is removed from socket. I am can not turn off projector using ON/OFF button on top or with remote control. I am not sure if the actual problem is with bulb. Thanks Igor

SOURCE: Dell 3100MP Projector - No Signal Check Cable

Make sure you have the right input source selected. It may be looking for a signal from some input other than the one you're connected to. Beyond that, if it truly isn't seeing the input then you'll need to have the projector serviced.

SOURCE: No power to my dell 2300mp

The fuse is a short round maroon colored part to the left of the power plug looking at the power supply module from the direction that you would connect the cord to. it is labeled F1 and it is a 4a 250v. This is not the problem with my power supply though. I suspect one of the components under the heatsink is bad.
as you all know don't bother calling dell.

Hi, is Dell 3100MP Projector is compatible with windows 7 laptop. I am Having message " NO SIGNAL, CHECK VIDEO CABLE" with Windows 7 but with Windows xp, the same projector works fine. Can anyone...

Hi,
In most cases this problem is cured by enabling the external VGA (or monitor) ouput on the laptop. The quickest way is to reboot the laptop with the projector turned on and connected. Usually the laptop will detect an external display is attached and enable the port.
It is also possible to manually enable the external display port. It varies from laptop to laptop but look for the "Fn" key at the bottom left of the keyboard, usually coloured green or blue. You should see a row of icons on the top row of "F" keys which is in the same colour. Look for the one which is either a monitor, or possibly says LCD or CRT.

Hold down the Fn key and press the key you located in the last step. There is usually a delay of a few seconds and then you'll find something may happen. Usually the external output will be turned on alongside the local (laptop) display. Repeatedly following the last step cycles through all available configuration options, including both on, local on, local off, external on, and external off.
This should fix it. Make sure that the correct input is selected on the projector whilst doing this. It will be labelled on the projector and it should display the same input message on screen.

Do one one thing. check the lamp of your projector. For removing the lamp see the bellow picture.
also check the lamp colling fan. If it is faulty this fault can occur.

2.Push up and remove the cover.(2)
3. Remove the 2 screws from the lamp module.(3)
