Even if i connected the charger its not charging

probably your charger is broken or your charging port is broken. either way, if the charger is broken, its cheap to replace. if the port is broken, its cost a bit more

Plugged? Did it have any charge? Almost sounds like reversed connection. double check connection. You may have a short after the battery so battery is constantly drained and will never charge.
disconnect the battery connections and charge to check. Are you sure you have charging voltage at the charger output connection.?

The reason it said connect the original charger, could be there was a wire defect in the USB cable. It has 4 wires, 2 to charge 2 for data. It noticed you did connect something to the USB port, but could not charge. Perhaps your cable is defect, to even the charger can be defect.
Try another if possible Garmin charger and or another USB cable.

charge your battery on another phone and then place your battery in your phone and switch on your phone and connect the charger to it if still it isn't charging then check your charger and if the charger is ok then you need to repair your phone manually or by taking it to authorized dealer

Try to use or buy universal charger. Get your battery and charge it to universal charger. so that you can use your phone. This is the easy way so you can use your phone.

yeh same problem with me, take the battery out, put it back in, then stick the charger in and it will work
