Jenn-Air Gas Stove - JGR8855ADS - bought 2001. Oven takes about 10 minutes to get to 120 or 130. Very irratic. Started a few months ago, got better, now we can't get it to heat up at all. Stove-top and broiler work fine.
We may have found it - google Maytag Gas and Electric Range Service Manual (1997 models to present) and save it as a PDF to your desk top. Then print out the PDF pages # 18, 25 & 26, 52, 62 65 & 66. Those pages sound exactly like the problem we're having, which sounds identical to the problem you're having. We now suspect the issue is the gas valve heater coil and the volts it needs for ignition. Because without enough volts, the ignitor won't ignite (like, duh?). The specific PDF page is # 66 in reference to the Glow Bar Operation item # 4. If we're right, we'll need to get three small parts, totaling about $60 in all. Let's hope this is the solution!

HOW OR DID YOU GET THIS FIXED
Ditto on the problem and our's was purchased about 2003. But our oven problem has been going on for almost a year. We used to be able to pre-heat on broil, then go to bake and it would work adequately, but now all it does is pulse and not really heat up at all. Burners / broiler work fine. We think it may be the oven control module or the touch pad gone bad (ie parts not communicating with each other). We know a good service guy and are trying to contact him for advice.
We appreciate your reply. We did finally call a repairman and it was the 'ignitor'. It cost about $150+ to repair and he had the part with him so it ws a quick fix. That was about 5 months ago and it is still working fine. My husband said that he probably could have repaired it himself too. Had a similar problem with our Rheem furnace a few years back. Accordinging to that technician, the ignitors can wear out. The furnace has been fine since then also. Hope this helps.
