Toshiba 50H72, replaced IC's, but colors still not lined up correctly. Did not replace resistors. Manual states to use 1 watt, 1.8 ohm resistors, are these correct or do I need to use something different??? Also, when doing the SELF CHECK, a couple of area's are RED like these: BUS CONT: NG QH401 & BLOCK :MAIN SUB (sub is in RED color)...What does this mean? Thanks very much.

value is critical here, a 2.2 might work but could cause adjustment problems, these resistors precisely control voltage to the chips, as far as parts try calling my favorite dealer, SUBURBAN ELECTRONICS, they have a 800 number and also a online catalog.

When pressed and did not have correct resistor I have used 1.8 one half watt flame proof and never had a problem, the original ones are one watt and metal oxide in nature.

Andrews Electronics in LA, the world's largest OEM dealer will have them and they also have a 800 number and take phone orders.

For best results get the good ones.
