Remote control stop working. Check batteries and tried new batteries, did not help. Once in awhile it may turn on or off, or turn on but not off or visa versa, other button very seldom works. Tried a programed satelite remote control does the same thing. All the buttons on the TV works alright, but it takes too long to change channel from single digit to double digits. What is wrong and what can I do, thank you.

You have an aging TV and aging capacitors. There may be some bad grounds on the solder side of the main board. You need to first inspect the solder side of the board for bad solder connections. And find an ESR meter. (Capacitor Checker) No doubt you will find some weak capacitors. I would look for those almost anywhere on this TV. This TV is small and you should be able to test each and every electrolytic capacitor. The electrolytics are the caps that look like small cans with two legs. They are rated in Mfs. For example 35 volts @ 100 MF, 16 volts @47 Mf, 25 volts @ 4.7 MF, etc. Test all of them and replace as necessary. Good Luck and thanks for asking. Show a few hands of support.

My dynex remote control for 32 inch flat screen stopped working, tried new batteries-no fix, any help? Can I use another or do I have to contact the company for a new remote?

I just called Dynex because I had the same problem. Remove the batteries and press the power button and hold it down for 15-20 seconds, put the batteries back in and try to power on and power off, change channels, etc... if so the remote is fine. The guy told me that sometimes when you need to replace the batteries you also have to re-set the remote control.

Fujitsu air con unit. Remote wont work. has new batteries

Check the micro processor control whether it is in manual mode or not. If not check the sensor whether it is functioning or not. If everything is fine then remote control has to be changed.

I have a car fitted with a Clifford GS 470 alarm but I cant get the alarm to stop. The car that this alarm was fitted in has not been started in 5 months and so the battery ran flat. I replaced the battery...

you might have to replace the batteries in the remotes. The reason why the alarm is going off because once you plug power back to the alarm brain it sets the alarm off and the only way to make it stop is to hit the unlock button the remote. Make sure all connections on the alarm brain are good and try changing the batteries in the remotes. also might have to reprogram the remotes to the brain if it has been sitting for awhile.

I have a Hampton Bay or Hunter?? Ceiling fan that is Remote Control. It all of the sudden started acting strange--ie. The light started going from Dim to Bright and none of the functions on the remote...

The canopy should turn either left or right to remove. I'm sure you've tried this, but if the fan's been there awhile, it may just be a little stuck and you need to work at it.
