You may have blown a fuse if there is no power display...the fuse unfortunately is located in control panel... it usually is either a 15 amp or 20 amp fuse... do not put a larger one in or a smaller. to test the fuse if you cant visible see it is bad you will need to ohm out and should get continuity ...if the fuse is good and you have no display most likely the pcb or board is bad.... good luck

Lg microwave MC-7648WH i had bought a lg microvave on 2008. it suddenly stops working . i also make complaint in lg service centre. the engineers said that a part had damaged and that part company had...

If you got it from Costco, they will refund you credit (not money)fully without asking.
If not AND if you can fix, you can buy parts from online store (or eBay).
Or, visit local electronic repair shop.

No power checked outlet and power is on

HELLO.

This is the way out of the problem.

The outlet is on power, the power problem is from the microwave.

check on the back of the microvave to locate the fuse that control the supply of power to the microvave.

Change the fuse because it is unable to control power supply.

Then plug the microwave to the outlet.

Thanks .

The microwave does not react what so ever. Checked the fuse and its fine, what could be the problem? please help

Is there power at the outlet? You say you checked the fuse ... is that the one inside the machine? Is the outlet protected by a GFI (reset for a GFI is on the GFI)? A GFI looks like a ordinary outlet but is very sensitive to electrical irregularities. Your circuit breaker may be on or your power panel fuse may be fine and the fuse inside your oven may be fine. If the GFI is popped, you have no power.

Try some other electrical device in the outlet. Does it work? Try an extension cord from a known hot outlet?

Beyond these tips, you may need professional help with this.

Help with repair for LG 2055ST

Check the internal fuse. Unplug it, unscrew and take off the cover, the fuse should be easily found in the back by the power cord. I tlooks like a regular fuse but is white instead of clear glass because microwave fuses are special. You'll have to measure it with a meter as a result and be sure to replace it with the same kind. (try finding them at radio shack) Hopefully there isn't something more serious also.
