Sounds like something on the power board is overheating and shutting down. If you aren't completely comfortable working around hot circuits be very careful attempting to determine what is overheating.
While it is suspicious happening so soon after lamp replacement, your main power supply may have failed.
In earlier sets, these were problems that eventually happened.
most likly its your lamp you just need to get a new one off the internet or you can bring it to a repair shop and they will be able to replace it for alittle bit more then the lamp itself will cost
A technician here suggested that I unplug any VHS or CD player as this could cause it. After doing this I had the TV on for about 4 hrs and didn't have any trouble. So far so good. Thanks for checking on me. I really like your Web page it's most helpful.
