Most of these camper units I've worked on have only 1 style of t-stat to use. Replace it with the same as what you have if possible. And check all connections to and from the t-stat. A blank screen doesn't mean the t-stat is at fault. Should have power at the stat as well as the control board.

Somewhere in your manual you should have a table telling your what the codes mean. I have no idea. Once you find out I can most likely direct you in how to fix it.
First lets address the heating issue. These are not furnaces but are known as "Chill Chasers" and are not designed to "heat" your RV Attempting to use them as a whole coach heater will burn them up in short order.
Your A/C sounds like the coils are freezing up. There is a small probe that is placed into the coils. you can see it from under the unit if you remove the interior cover - a little 1/8" in dia. silver piece flattened on one end to slide between the coil fins with a wire going back to the control box It may have fallen out
It means that an error has occurred. If you have a 4 button comfort control. If data and light are present, continue to next step. Depress MODE switch to activate annunciator light. Simultaneously depress the bottom two buttons (temperature UP and DOWN) and hold. While holding these buttons down, depress the MODE button once and release. Release the two buttons previously held down. Depress the MODE button once again. At this time the light should extinguish, and the mode should register “OFF”. If not, repeat these steps. Retest system ensuring that all functions are present and operational.
If you have the five button comfort control. Turn the unit off and hold down the mode and zone buttons together. While holding them down, turn the thermostat back on. Hold the buttons down until an FF appears on the screen. Release the buttons and the display should return to normal. If not, try it again.
I have a dometic duo-therm. The unit works great and fan blows strong and both high and low work., but air is coming out of the ceiling unit rather than the duct work. The bedroom unit works OK, but the air is strong out of one duct, and not much comes out of the others. The front unit only has air coming out on the A/C unit and none out of the ducts.
