You can contact a Xerox service center and see if they can provide the default password. In most of the WorkCenter MFP's the previous owner would seldom change the default. But if they did, the Xerox service tech can probably tell you how to reset it once you provide the serial number and proof of ownership.

use workcentre pro 265 drivers. worked fine for me and is embedded w/ the vista os.
