Getting an F4 fault code after about 1 -2 minutes of operation. There is actually water in the bottom of the unit. Have put a vacuum on the inlet feed tubing and also have blown compressed air through the water inlet tubing (after powering up so as to open the solenoid) and there does not seem to be any blockages. Thanks, Mike

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F4 error in your Asko Dishwasher is a water fill fault and this indicates and over fill fault. To check and solve this problem please follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the power to the unit

2. Remove the lower access panels and check the tray under the dishwasher (you will probably find it is full of water)

3. Use a towel or a sponge to remove the water

4. There is a float that should stop the operation of the dishwasher and run the pump if water is in this tray. Check this pump to see if it is functional

5. Test the dishwasher

6. If there are no leaks from the dishwasher into the pan, check the drain hose under the sink

7. THE DRAIN HOSE MUST RUN UP TO THE TOP OF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COUNTERTOP THEN DOWN TO THE DRAIN. (If the hose is not set up like this, water from the sink drain will flow into the dishwasher and overfill the tray

Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Fill fault on top tub and bottom works fine. getting about 30 ounces of water and it takes about 3 minutes for fault code to come up

If your bottom drawer works fine then your inlet water valve below the bottom drawer is bad. Click on the link below to see how to repair this dishwasher.

The awm8103 not working it writing FH .what its mean?

I have not seen this but from the online fault code listing says that these are the conditions for the failure:

No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

Or

If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.

And the things to check are:

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
If there is no water in the unit:
Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
Check inlet valve operation
If there is water in the unit:
Check Drain pump operation
Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
Check there is not a siphon problem
Check wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check all hoses for possible leaks
Check pressure switch operation
Check flow meter operation
Check CCU operation

• If there is water in the unit:
- Verify Drain pump operation
- Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch

• Verify there is not a siphon problem
• Verify wire harness connections to; Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)

No water entering machine - mains supply OK

On a Whirlpool ADP4731 dishwasher, try this...
Double check that the under-sink valve is open, providing hot water to the dishwasher.
If it is, the water inlet valve should be checked for proper operation.
The F4 error code means "drainage fault" which should be checked after the water inlet problem has been resolved.
Good Luck!

Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load

Hello lilo1
Welcome

You said, You are getting an error code F/H but it works most of the time. Then it just quits
You may have low water pressure which the machine senses and after some minutes will shut down .
If any pump runs with insufficient water pressure it will burn out the pump so washers are made with auto shutoff's in those case it does shut off.
Check that the water valves are passing water out of the taps that are connected to the washer and they did not fail.
When you remove the water supply hose from the washer inlet, you will probably find the screens in the washer water inlet are blocked and need to be removed and cleaned off and then replaced.
Do not bend them up and you can re use them!
Below are causes and more remedies
Let me know how it goes!

F4 Fault indication

F4 is a water inlet fault. It doesn't make sense if you have this fault indication with water flowing into the unit. Does the dishwasher drain properly? Usual suspects for an F4 indication would be a clogged inlet line, water supply turned off, bad fill valve, or a control board failure. Let me know if this helps, or give me a little more information on what you have done to correct so far.
