My quantaray polarizer won't unscrew from the lens. How to remove?

First, make sure you're trying to turn the half closest to the lens. Polarizer filters are designed to turn freely; one half screws onto the lens and then the other half turns free.

Second, don't force it. If you think something's about to break, STOP!

If you can't unscrew the half closest to the lens, try putting a rubber band on it. Wrap the rubber band around that portion of the filter to give you a better grip, then try turning it.

If you have a jar opener, try using that.

A good camera store will sell filter wrenches. One of them should be able to remove the filter. Or take your lens to the store and have someone there remove it with their filter wrench.

Burner stopped working

You might also want to clean the console's laser lens with a laser lens cleaning kit.

Row Jukebox 100B CD stops playing half way into a song. system error light is flashing on. I cleaned the lens, didn't help

It sounds like your laser lens may have or be in the process of kicking the bucket.
What you CAN do is adjust the POT on your lens...a fairly simple process if you can get at the lens assembly. Not so simple if you have to take everything apart to get to it.
Google "laser pot adjustment" and read up on how to do it.
If you aren't tech-savvy you may want to consider purchasing a new device or drive for your device.

Camera turns on but stops halfway through loading process

Hi there just like to informed you that 2 reason can make the issue.
1. low or old battery's using.
Solution: replace it if too old or charged it fully.

2. Lens error. Internal lens guide pin if damaged then the camera goes off with bad noise or open only half way.

Solution: repair or replaced the lens guide pin.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

Nikon 18 to 55 lens wont focus

Check to make sure the manual focus/auto focus switch on the lens is set to A. Make sure the lens is completely mounted to the camera and locks securely. If this does not help, or if the lens was dropped, then you should consider buying a new lens. the cost of fixing the old lens may be at least half of the cost of buying a new one.

Change Bracketing to half stops

You can't. You're stuck with third-stops (despite what David Busch may have told you in his book).

When on sports setting, my camera shoots slow and blurry when indoors

More than likely, your exposure- specifically your shutter speed settings- are too low. When you have fast action, you must have a higher shutter speed (Higher, meaning that the DURATION of the exposure is less. So, an exposure of 1/250th of a second is more desirable than an exposure of 1/30th of a second when shooting indoor sports. (This difference equates to about 400% more exposure, duration-wise). When shooting sports indoors, a "Fast" lens, meaning that the front of the lens is bigger, which allows more light into the camera at one time. (This normally equates to "F-Stop" settings. So, a 50mm F1.4 lens will be a "faster" lens than a 50mm F2 lens. The lower the F number, the "faster" the lens. This also equates to higher prices...) Another consideration for shooting stop-action sports photography indoors is using higher ISO settings. When you double the ISO number, you cut the amount of light required to make a good exposure in half. So, ISO 200 requires half the light of ISO100, and 400 requires half the light of 200 and so on. Typically, I use a setting of ISO 800 or higher for indoor sports (Which, BTW is my speciality...). The trade-off for using higher ISO settings is that it introduces more noise into the image, which many people find less desirable. I also wrote a few articles for POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGING about shooting sports. The "football" article will more than likely be the most help to you. Basically, ALL sports photography is shot the same way, and if you use these techniques, your work will greatly improve. Here is a link to those, and hope they help!

Canon Rbl XT out of focus in viewfndr when shutter half way down

Hello,
It's possible that the reason the "pictures turn out fairly good" is that your f-stop is set high enough that even though the image isn't properly focused, you have enough depth-of-field to bring your subject into "near focus". Does your lens try to focus back and forth when you half-press the shutter? If not, double check that the lens is in autofocus and not manual focus. You can also try cleaning the contacts between the lens and camera. Take the lens off, and then one-at-a-time clean the contacts on both the lens and the camera, using a clean pencil eraser. Gently rub the contacts. Be sure to hold the item upside down so that the eraser debris falls on to the table, not into the camera body or lens!

If none of this helps the autofocus may have become damaged and you need to have the lens and camera looked at by Canon Repair.
