I have a Ematic EM400B mp3 player. It also is a camera. I was listening to music and the device stopped the music went to the home screen and froze. Any advice how to fix this. There is not a reset button, the battery can not be taken out, and the on off switch is not working.

MP3 player can only play mp3 music format files.
These files can be downloaded from the Internet and copies to the MP3 player.
Music files which are not in mp3 format need to be converted to mp3 format before copying to the MP3 player.

Try resetting the device it’s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds.
Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
To do a search on your computer just goto START, then SEARCH. Click on "All Files and Folders". In the search box, type in *.WAV or *.MP3. This will search your entire computer for WAV files or MP3 files. To convert WAV into MP3, you will need to download a program from the internet that cnverts WAV into MP3 files. Just goto google.com and type in WAV to MP3 converter and should be able to download free converters....
There is a reset button.
If it freezes again after reset, go to Philips website, get the upgraded version of the Philips Device Manager and run the Update tab in Philips Device Manager.
