Hello.
I'm figuring you want to print a WordPerfect document to your Lexmark printer ... am I right ?
I would think that you want to set up the Lexmark printer as the default printer in WordPerfect, rather than the other way around. So, to "add WordPerfect to the Applications List" is a confusing statement to me.
If you are running Windows XP or after, such as Vista, Windows 7, whatever printer you set up as the Default would be the default for all your applications, including Word Perfect.
Are you running an old version of WordPerfect ?? Or, an older version of Windows, or not Windows at all ?
Hope I can help.
NinaE:
I just now discovered your message, and I appreciate it.
I have no problem printing WordPerfect with my Lexmark printer. I want to SCAN WordPerfect files to WordPerfect, instead of to Microsoft, and all the other places on the Applications List. To do so, I have to add WordPerfect to the Lexmark Applications List. I’ve received some suggestions, but none of them works.
I have Windows XP, and my WordPerfect version is WordPerfect Office 12. Now that you mention it, I have begun to wonder if I need a newer version of WordPerfect. NinaE, could you tell me if you know this: If I DO need a newer version of WordPerfect, would an upgrade serve my purpose just as well as buying a whole new program?
Again, thanks for your help. Have a great day.

You have to open the lexmark options and in there to look for the applications and if they are enabled..after making sure they are enabled ...add the word application to the list ..Also make sure you have a license word ...so that adding the application to be possible ..

I've been trying to follow your directions, but haven't succeeded yet. I'm going to work a few minutes more and then go to bed. It's after midnight here in Indianapolis.
Thanks for your help. May I contact you tomorrow in case I can't get it done? I'd appreciate it.
Talk to you tomorrow,

MIMO4375:
I already responded to your message through another channel, but I'm happy to repeat it here.
The Lexmark is already my default printer.
MIMO, are you familiar with the "Manage Application Lists" feature on the Lexmark X5410 All-In-One? Please tell me if you are not, because if that is the case, we will not be able to solve my problem. My problem is the inability to add "WordPerfect" to the Lexmark Application List.
MIMO:
My email address is [email protected]
I look forward to receiving the page you mentioned.
Thank you very much for the help you have given me.
Happy New Year, MIMO.

William French

drifter:
Thanks for your message. I could not find Applications in the Lexmark Options. Could you tell me how to find them there?
Also, what is a License Word?
Your solution seems promising, but I need help in carrying out what you say.
Thanks again, and Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
William French
Hi drifterK.
Thanks for your help. The only Lexmark Options I could bring up did not
contain anything about Applications. It had Hide Tabs, Home, Stop,
Refresh, Print, Search Highlight Off, and Inernet Options. When I
went into Internet Options, I found nothing to do with Applications.
Also, I'm not familiar with a License Word. What is it, and how do I get one?
I appreciate your response, and will do all I can to follow your advice.
If you think my response can be answered, please feel free to contact me.
Regards,
William French
