Go to a hardware store and get Wasp Killer. This stuff shoots in a stream and really kills on contact. Shoot it in there and keep shooting and you should be ok. Shoot it in a safe area to see the stream that I'm talking about.

Carlon plug-in Wireless Chime I have a Carlon wireless Chime with transmitter from Thomas & Betts model 3301T and wall receiver RC3130R. It works inside the house and inside the front door , but not...

What happens if you go to the side of the house right by a window (non-metallic screen, or at an unscreened part of the window)? If it works through the window, you probably have steel mesh behind the brick that is shielding out the transmitter signal. The steel door frame isn't so great either. However, if you have a non-metallic door, you can put the transmitter on the door itself. It will seem weird to other people, but if it works ...

Why won't my double oven lights or power go on?

I think it would be a good idea to find the electric box and then:
1) find the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the oven.
That information is supposed to be written on the inside of the door of the electrical box.
2) Turn off the circuit breaker, or remove the fuse that is supposed to be the one.
3) Pull the oven out from it's place and try to get behind it to test (with an ohm meter or a multi-meter) and see if the unit is getting electricity at all.
Obviously, you will need to turn the breaker back on or screw in the fuse.
BE CAREFUL, THIS IS DANGEROUS STUFF YOU ARE DOING.
Sounds like you may need to reset the circuit breaker ( that means to turn it off and on a few times) or to replace the fuse.
God bless you in your efforts.

Stinger bk500 series electric outdoor insect killer. The the black UV light worked for 20 minutes, shut off, & won't come back on. It is set for 24 hour mode. Company no help. Any suggestions?

Not all insects with stingers leave them behind after they bite you. Bumble bees, wasps, hornets and yellow jackets all inject their venom into your body with stingers, but only honey bees leave the stinger embedded in your flesh.

Need to mo we an electrical power point in a brick wall in my apartment

More information is needed.
Brick wall is inside apartment... what is on other side of wall?
Open existing electrical box. Drill through back of box and drill through wall until you come out on other side of wall. Install new box #1 on wall where drill comes out. Run conduit over to another new box#2. Drill through wall again until you come out on inside brick wall where you want to relocate original box. Install new surface-mount box#3 on brick wall. Then run wiring from original box. Original box cannot be bricked over or covered with building materials since it is a junction box where wires connect.
Other option is to install extension ring on top of existing electric box. Run conduit across face of brick wall. Install new box#1 where you need outlet.
Other option is to chisel away the brick and mortar from existing electric box down to floor level (or over to door frame). This will allow recessed conduit that can be concealed with matching mortar. Then run conduit across to new location. Cover conduit along floor with baseboard, or chisel out brick along floorline to accommodate conduit, then mortar over conduit. Or simply paint conduit to match brick. You must use conduit since wires cannot be run openly.

Where can I find a wooden automatic gate?

A wooden driveway gate needs to be supplemented with a steel frame to last since they will be opened much more frequently than an ordinary wood gate. The slide type gates will need the structural strength to resist the pulling of the chain. A swing gate, will be cantilevered since a wheel at the opposite end will trigger the obstruction reversing mechanism in the gate operator. This cantilevering over the long width of a driveway requires steel in the structure both to prevent sagging and to keep the gate looking good over time. Gaps and misalignment will occur naturally as the wood shrinks and expands in weather. The steel frame helps to hold everything together tightly.

We make our gates using wood cladding over a steel frame. If you like check out our link at the bottom for more information. Here are some projects we have completed.

We are replacing old doors only in an old house. when we put the hinges on the new door the bottom hinge is slightly misaligned. when we get it put together it binds

Hi this is what I would do. 1.buy a shim pack at any hard ware store (wooden wedges) cheap. 2.take one side of bottom hinge off, frame. 3.shut the door and use shims end to end like this >< Where needed to fit door, some on bottem ,one set on knob side and anoughter set on hinge side.At any rate where ever they are needed to leval the door in the frame. 4.buy some wooden dowels to plug frame holes, might have to drill screw holes larger for dowles.Drive dowels in and break them off. 5.swing bottem hinge in to place and screw hinge down. This should work and you may need a wood chissle or flat screw driver for modifacation where hinges seat. You may have to reseat both hinges or put shim stock behind the frame hinges to line up every thing.I hope something here will help and please feel free to ask any questions that you have and add any thing that will help me see this clearer. You will need a person on both sides of the door to drive the shims togeather to keep the door level. Ok , im trying to find out why im useing so much electrity every month , and some one said it might be bleeding through the ground , just checking i seen the only ground goes to the electric meter box out...

The meter at the pole should have a main breaker. At that point the neutral (white wire) will be bonded to the ground and connected to one or more ground rods. from the meter to your mobile home will be an equipment ground that should not be bonded to the neutral in the panel inside your home. The equipment ground from you panel going to the frame is bonding the frame of your home to the equipment ground.

Your large loads will be your Range, Clothes Dryer, Heat, Hot water. A good indicator will be your meter spinning rapidly (the horizontal disc) during heavy use. Turn off all circuits in the home and check that the meter is not spinning. If it is then there is another load other than your home on the service.

Where is the cabin filter on a 2003 honda odysseey

The cabin filter is located behind the glovebox.
First lower and remove the glovebox
If it has not been changed before, you will need to cut the plastic crossbrace behind the glovebox.
Once out of the way, unbolt the steel reinforcing frame behind the plastic and set it aside.
The cabin filter is mounted vertically behind it.

The language on the Lexmark printer X9575 is not in English, how do I reset the printer itself to get back to English?

Hi,
try taking out the power brick off the printer. the power brick is where the power cord plugs in behind the printer - the black box. Then, hold down the cancel and start buttons at the same time (w/o the power brick in the printer yet). Plug in the power brick while still holding the 2 buttons firmly. Printer should turn on automatically. Wait for the language selection prompt. Hope this helps.
