SOURCE: Mac doesn't recognize my Nikon Coolpix

Use a cardreader to download your pictures. Download them to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can do anything you want with them.

SOURCE: My Nikon COOLPIX S51 Will not turn on.

Your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may need to be replaced, or the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

SOURCE: can i plug my nikon coolpix s570 into my computer

No. You must either remove the battery and charge it in the MH-63 charger or use a nikon coolpix s570. The best bet is to get a second spare battery so that you can recharge a spent battery.

Windows XP will not recognize Cooxpix S710

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

USB not recognized, no safe removal icon, wont switch off

I had the same problem. Nothing seemed to help, I even re-installed Nikon View. This helped, though. After you've connected the USB cable to both computer and camera, twist the camera end of the cable towards front of the camera. It seems like either the cable or the socket in the camera is damaged.
