In your dryer behind the tumbler there are coils with insulators. up against the dryer wall their should be many holes that allow the heat to come into the tumbler. run your dryer about 3 minutes with settings on heat , then open the door and peer thru to the back while the tumbler is spinning. if you don't see part or full radiat heat. the heating coils will have to be replaced. you can purchase them from most appliance parts store. just make sure you provide the brand and model # and possibly the ser#. good luck!

Circuit braker keep popping

Sounds like the heating element has gone out again. Once you reset the circuit breaker and the tub turns on it will start to circulate the water. This usually runs like this for about 2 mins and then the tub will recognize it is cold and send power to the heater. If the element is back at that point it will blow the circuit breaker.
If this circuit breaker pops as soon as you turn it on then you most likely have a bad circuit board.

The broiler is a different element. Sounds like your main (bottom) element is out. Turn off breaker and remove. To test, use an ohm meter and ohm out the element. If yuor meter reads 0 or OL (open load) your element needs to be replaced.

Only large flame comes out and fan does not start

Since this is a propane unit, do not turn it back on again without the fan working. First check to see if the unit has a pop out style breaker, reset it if popped. Check to see if you did not trip a breaker at the breaker box.

element has blown, pop is it breaking, that heating element will need replacing, failing this and elements all working water may have gotten to the electrics this would cause the pop and shut down all electric as well.

Have Challenger Type C 2100 circuit breaker in residential home electrical panel. Manually turned to off position and now cannot turn back on. Pops back to off position. Also says HACR type and common trip...

First HACR is heating, air conditioning, refrigeration. So in other words you could use it on an electric furnace or air conditioning.
IS this the main breaker for the panel? or for and electric furnace. I'm assuming its for the furnace, perhaps back up heat for heat pump. See if there is another disconenct on the furnace, turn it off and see if the breaker resets. IF so you have a short or overload in the furnace.
If' it IS the main for the panel, turn off all the other breakers in the panel, and try to reset the breaker. If that works, turn the other breakers back on one at a time. IF it "POPS" then it is tripping. Don't keep resetting, find the problem.

After a "pop" - the oven no longer works

You should have thrown the breaker before moving the oven. The element likely shorted and blew the breaker. make sure the breaker is off. replace the element and plug it back in and reset the breaker.

Frigidaire ES400 range - oven will not opperate, range will

Me too. Oven was on, big "pop" and breaker went. After re-setting the breaker (and setting the clock on the range), the stove top works fine, and the controller for the oven seems fine, just that neither the top or bottm elements will heat up in the oven. 240 V is getting to the control module, but it is not sending out any juice to the oven elements.
Any fixes out there?
