1. You can press ALT + Space + C to close DOS mode if you are not stuck in DOS mode
2. You can press ALT + Enter to restore back from Full Screen mode and close it by clicking on the cross
3. You can press ALT + TAB to return to windows and
a) close the DOS mode by right clicking on taskbar icon
b) press ALT + CTRL + Del and end the task from the Applications list

4. Most of the DOS programs have shortcut keys to exit. Like ALT+X, CTRL+C, CTRL+Q depending on the application

Is this a trick question? There is no "DOS mode" on a MacBook Pro.
Do you have WIndows installed as part of Boot Camp, and your machine is booting into Windows? To boot back into the Mac, either use the Boot Camp control panel in Windows, or hold down the Option key after you hear the startup chime and select the OS X partition to boot from.

Do you mean by DOS mode, access to the terminal for command line interface? DOS is specific to PCs. The Mac equivalent is Terminal.
