Far right which is updates it should say purchased and it should be in there

You can get the games sent from bluetooth from any phone or PC. Also you can load your memory card with the game from a PC.
but make sure all these games are malware free as many of the games have confliccts with the software to create fault or errors or slow down of the system.

try to clean the disk if not reset ur ps3

elimanate or remove the virus first to keep it work properly.

You need to make sure you have updated the PS3 as well as the games. You said you wait until the game is done saving, well just to make sure, check the HDD light isn't flashing (writing information). Also you should not just shut down from the game, quit game then shut down the system. If you are shutting it down with the switch in the back, shut down "softly" (holding down the PS button and selecting shutdown) then turn off in the back.
