I've had my E-300 for 3-4 years now with never a problem, until this.... . Recently, whenever I try to upload photos onto my PC I click "Ok" for the "Storage" function, the red light flashes once, then the screen goes blank and the camera switches off. No upload. .... and yes, the battery is a genuine Olympus one and is fully charged! Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers, Greg

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I can no longer upload my photos. What is going on?

JigZone Photo Upload accepts pictures of JPG and GIF formats only. All puzzle pictures are a fixed dimension, 400 pixels wide by 300 pixels high:All puzzle pictures are stored with a maximum file size of 20KB (20,480 bytes). Photos which have a file size greater than 20KB will be automatically compressed, which could result in a loss of picture quality. For fast uploading and maximum picture quality, we recommend that your edit your pictures to be 400 pixels wide by 300 pixels high and have a file size no greater than 20KB before uploading them.Note: GIF type images cannot be automatically re-sized and must be formatted to 400 x 300 and less than 20KB before being uploaded. To limit the bandwidth costs of this free service, at this time the file size of a photo upload is limited to 2M or 2,097,152 bytes. Large sized photos could take several minutes to upload. During this time the upload page will remain on the screen.

How do I transfer my pictures from the kodak easyshare to the shutterfly gallery? I cannot even transfer my recently added pictures to the Kodak gallery.

If your pictures are in jpg format, you can download Picasa, free from Google at http://picasa.google.com/ and use it to upload your photos. You can also do it using your browser if it handles Flash. If not, use the one by one uploader at Shutterfly. I recommend using Picasa, because it will find all the pictures on your PC and sort them by date. It includes a photo editor and facial recognition too. I would drag all your pictures to the "Pictures" folder to make it easier to work with them.

How do i send pictures from my phone to my facebook account

Hi ellen70,

If you have a USB cable you can connect it to your Desktop or Laptop first, or if you have Card reader, you can also insert the Memory card.

Then follow this step how to upload photos or pictures, create album in your Facebook account:

1. Go to your profile and click Photos under your profile picture.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click the + Upload Photos button.
3. Click Select Photos then choose the photo files you want to upload. To upload multiple photos at once, hold down the Control button on your PC, or the Command button on your Mac, while clicking the image files.4. Click Open once you've selected your photos.
5. After you select photos to upload, you'll see a prompt to choose an album title, privacy setting for the album and photo quality.
6. A progress bar will show you the status of your upload. Once it's complete, click the blue Create an Album button and you'll be directed to the new album.

Hope it helps.

How do i put pictures from my computer onto facebook

Hi!

here's how:
Log in on facebook... click on profile....select Photos tab.. Click the "+ Create a Photo Album" button....Enter the name for the Album and click "Create Album"..... the best so far and the fastest to upload pictures to facebook is by using the "Simple Uploader... Click the :Try the simple uploader button, just under the "CANCEL" button....browse the picture from your PC, and select 5 of this to Upload. Check the box for terms of use and click Upload Photos...
That it.. its simple.

However, on some occasion this will not upload pictures with larger size....My suggestion to you is to download Image Resizer software... Install this software to your computer... To use this.. find your pictures and right click to it.. Click the resize picture and it will copy with a smaller size (pictures with 2mb will resize to almost 80 kb... then select all pictures with lesser size and let this be the one to be uploaded..

Hope this help.
Much appreciated if you rate this help.. thanks
