The top thread is tight across and the bobbin is keeping loose loops

You don't give us the make and model of your machine.... so it's hard to give you decent specific advice. Secondly your question isn't making sense. If you are getting loops on the bottom your top tension isn't right(too loose) if your loops are on top your top tension isn't right.(too tight) The only time you would mess with bobbin tension is when you change thread weights significantly. Like from 40 weight to 92 weight or visa versa.



Look at your bobbin case, bobbin carrier, shuttle/carrier..... there is a spring (it's a flat piece of metal) on the spring is a small screw. Use a small screw driver and tighten the spring 1/4 turn. Loosen your top tension a couple turns. (remember right to tight, left to loose)

Loops on the backside mean there is no tension on top ,if the top of the sewing l;ooks good then the bobbin tension is correct make sur eyou are threading the top thread correctly
