Advantium 120 model # SCA1001HSS03 has died and working. The circuit breakers is fine. The dedicated electrical line is working fine. There are no lights, no sign of life. The oven was working and at the end of the cooking process when it suddenly shut off. I am trying to determine whether if financially it would be worth fixing it of toss it.

SOURCE: Advantium 120 oven quit working- only 3 yrs old!

You probably have a failed thermistor / temperature sensor.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

If you need to remove it from the wall, y
ou can download GE installation instructions here.

SOURCE: Broken bottom latch on GE Advantium 120

You have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

No need to scan now...

We got the service manual for this model and have uploaded it to our site here to help you.

You will need the
free Acrobat Reader to view or print it in case you don't have it.

I'm suspecting the keypad or a door switch or switch mount issue.

Also, you can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

SOURCE: GE Advantium 120 Opinion

I have had an Advantium for about 3 or 4 yrs and would use nothing else! When this one wears out I will buy another one! I hardly ever use my regular oven any more! Hope this helps.

I need to install this range in a new kitchen and need to know the electical specs of the supply power

I don't see what range you're referencing. I see a title of microwave ovens. But, in any event, here's circuit requirement for each.

If it's a cooktop range: 220 volt 30 amp dedicated circuit

If it's a microwave: 110 volt 15 amp dedicated circuit

GE Profile Advantium Wall Oven 240 volts 950 Watts

How long does it run before it fails? Does it look like the display is getting scrambled characters? I'm leaning toward a bad magnetron, but it may be more or less than that. If you can give more details and especially the actual full model number (as opposed to the model name Advantium 120) that would help. Thanks!
