Question about Black & Decker CD9600SBGB 9.6 Volt Drill With Gift Bag [Misc.]
Your drill uses a key less chuck (the part that holds the drill bit). Grab the black spindle just below the drill bit and turn it clockwise when facing the drill from the back. Some drills have a locking chuck and only need to turn with one hand. Other drills don't have this option and use a 2 piece chuck. If it looks like there are 2 parts to the spindle, you will need to hold the the back part with one hand while turning the front part with the other hand.
