Hi, with lack of oil, I would say that the engine is ruined internally. This of course depends on what is broken internally. One can purchase another engine or what is called a long block. The long block consists of the engine without all the external parts. You would then transfer the parts from your old engine to the new one. I would check at a Briggs dealer near you as to what options they have. Sometimes the long block is a cheaper alternative and you reuse your pressure washer pump with it. Labor is a big factor in this as well. If you are able and can do the work then this is also a consideration. With a new complete unit however, you get a warranty. Another factor is the age of your unit. It might be better to get a newer one as to the usage of your existing pump.
