The globe light is blinking. We can connect to Belkin but page not found comes up. The message that comes up says IP address does not match. We have 3 laptops, and none of them are allowing us to have access with the internet through Belkin.

The globe keeps flashing orange and I can't connect to the internet because of this

The blinking globe means that the router no longer has access to the Internet. The two most common causes are that:
    1. Your Internet connection is down, or more likely,
    2. You Internet provider has changed your IP address the the modem or router need to be reset to acquire the correct address.

Belkin has a decent site for general troubleshooting located here.
And a more general, but detailed troubleshooting guide can be found here.

After a thounder storm , belkin router has a blinking orange light and wireless internet doesn't work. I have tried disconnecting modem, router and computer but i get the same problem. If I only use the...

sounds like you have to reset the router and put in your info again as when it was new ...

    1. Take a Ethernet cable and connect your modem from internet port of the belkin router and power on your modem.
    2. Take another Ethernet cable and connect your computer from Anyone empty Ethernet port of the belkin router. (if you have laptop then you may connect your laptop using wireless facility. You will find the username and password in the back of your router) .
    3. Now you need to power on your modem and wait for all lights to turn into green or blue lights. If all you have yellow light on your router. Then you need to restart your modem and wait for 2 minute. For more information you can visit : Belkin Router has solid orange light
    4. If you have solid green light on your belkin router, you need to go to your computer and open your browser.
    5. At the very top address bar you need to type the ip address 192.168.2.1 for opening the router setup page. (Sometimes the ip address may be different, you can check the router's ip address via running the ipconfig)
    6. Now you will be able to see belkin router setup page, so you need to click on detect my connection.
    7. If your computer will able to detect the connection properly then this will forward you to the wireless setup page. Here this will ask you to change the password (If you want) and click on next.
    8. Finally you will able to see all configurations window, so you need to check all configuration and click on save and continue to save all settings on your router. Now you belkin router will reboot and this will show you router admin page.
Finally your belkin router will setup and you will able to use the internet. you may try to connect the devices, whatever you want to connect with it.

    Router connection

    > router should be turned off after use

Nonsense. The router uses DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) to obtain (only!) one IP-address from your I.S.P. Each IP-address comes with a "lease", i.e., "use this IP-address for the next NN hours, and after that time, send a request to 'renew' the IP-address for another NN hours". This should(!) happen automatically -- without a need to restart the router.

So, if only the two "wireless" laptops are having the problem, the problem is inside the router.
Connect to the web-server "inside" the router, and look at the "status" web-page, and then the "log-files" web-page, to see what error-messages have been recorded.

My Belkin F5d82334v3 router flashes orange continuously

Contact belkin for the IP address to change your router setting internally. For example: Linksys is 192.168.1.1
Putting this address in your address bar will dial you into your router setting if you have a Linksys router. Each router manufacturer may have a different IP address. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Cannot connect to internet. router modem and globe lights blinking amber.

If the modem light is blinking it means that there is activity, so this is normal.

However, the globe/internet light needs to be solid green. If it is blinking it means it is attempting to connect to the internet.

Make sure first that the internet connection is working when directly connected to the modem. If yes, then the router might not be configured properly. To check the configuration on the router, access the setup page by using a web browser. Type 192.168.2.1 in the address bar.

By default the password should be left empty.

Once in the setup page of the router, go to Internet WAN. Select the connection that your ISP is using. Either, PPPOE (requires a username and password from ISP) or Dynamic, (the settings are obtained automatically from the ISP). If you are not sure, contact your ISP.

    I hope this helps!

Belkin router signal not showing up for Wii or Laptop.

If no signal, check router config. Use your
internet browser to look at router's settings.
By default the password on most Belkin routers is left blank, and the default IP address is 192.168.2.1 Check all you router's wireless settings in case disabled or incorrect. Make sure the laptop's wifi button has been toggled to OFF. Routers do die - esp the lowend ones. New wireless G router = $20 on sale.

Lights wont turn off even if netwrk wires are unplugged..

You'll have to hold your reset button down for atleast 10 seconds, or even more, then you'll have to reconfigure you entire connnection at address 192.168.2.1.
However before doing that, try and power down the whole unit for a minute or so and power it back up, then go to you computer's wireless connection and renew your IP address [that's if you have automatically assigned addresses]. otherwise you might have to check that you router and computer are operating on the same page [ by this I mean, if your router is assigning automatic IP, make sure your computer is not set to use a static IP, In my years of network, this has always been problem I have experienced on some routers]

Opening the NAT connection for Xbox 360 working through 2 routers

    1. How do you connect your Linksys router to Belkin router? Do you connect your Linksys router to the Internet/WAN port of the Belkin?
    2. If so, what is the Internet connection type set in your Belkin router? Is it dynamic?
    3. If the Belkin router is set to dynamic IP and if it is obtaining an IP address from your Linksys router(you may check the status page of your Belkin router and look for IP address), then you may need to forward or set that IP address as the DMZ to your Linksys router. Make sure that XBOX is still configured as the DMZ host in your Belkin
    Hope this helps!

We've just moved house and have aquired to belking routers a belkin wireless pre n and a belkin ADSL G Plus MIMO I want to use the latter as a bridge how can I?

You need to access the setup page of your Belking router and go to the wireless setup, look fro Use as Access Point, now just a reminder this will defeat the NAT IP sharing feature of the router. Configure the IP address of the router to the same subnet as the network your tying to bridge here's the more detailed procedure:

    1. Enable the AP mode by selecting "Enable" in the Use Access Point only page. When you select this option you can now change the IP Settings.

    2. Set your IP settings to match your network. Click "Apply Changes"

    3. Connect a cable from the LAN port of the router to your existing network.
