SOURCE: My Samsung HT-DM550 shows "lock"

Be careful to do this with AC cable disconnected from AC outlet! If you have some experience with electronics, disconnect the wired plugs from power supply and discharge electrolitic capacitors to ground with a 330 ohm 1 watt resistor. Then reconnect the wired plugs. Be careful to do this with AC cable disconnected from AC outlet! Then connect to AC outlet and turn on the DVD player. You will see that DVD player restores to normal operation again.

Problem when rading eny disks
This is a problem with the lens..
Get a lens cleaner CD with liquid and clean your DVD drive(just put two drops of liquid on CD and press play)
If this doesn't work you will need to replace the lens...The repair cost is not very high for replacing lens..
