Replaced water panel and the light keeps blinking to change it agai...model 700

After replacing the Water Panel, turn the control knob to the “Test/Reset” position until the “Change Water Panel” light blinks to reset the Water Panel change indicator timer.

The owner's manual reads "After the Water Panel is replaced, turn the Control knob to the “Test/Reset” position until the green “Humidifier ON” light flashes, to reset the Water Panel change timer."

Go to www.aprilaire.com and order the water panel for your type of humidifier . The model # should be located on the humidifier. the box you get from them will have directions on how to change. you will then need to turnyour dial on the humidistat to TEST until the green light BLINKS, this will reset the panel reminder timer.

turning to test will reset idicator light.
try connecting wires at humidifier and see if comes on.

if it is set up right, you should be able to run your fan 100% of the time and the humidifier will come on when there is a need for humidity. you can experiment with leaving the fan on and see if this helps. it will run your electric bill up a little and also you will have a lot of waste water. that is a drawback to the bypass type humidifiers. also a factor is if the water supply is hooked up to the hot or cold side. it will humidify better on the hot side, but you tend to get more deposits that plug the solenoid over time and you will be running your water heater quite a bit. 1600 sqft may be pushing the limit of this humidifier.

the solinid may be stuck or the humistat is wired wrong

are you having problems with your fan blade rotating in the wrong direction? Is yours pushing or pulling water through the water panel? I am very unhappy with my humidity levels in my house.

The reset is to place the controller in the "test/reset" position. The furnace must be in heat mode and operating at the time. The green light will blink for about 1 minute if operating properly, then cut off when placed in a normal setting.

Turn the control knob to the test/reset position untill the change water panel light blinks to reset the change panel timer. Make shure the furnace is running calling for heat.Turn control knob to prior setting after resetting timer. Hope this helps.
