I put my memory card into my Kodak EasyShare C143 digital camera. I press the review button, but all that comes up is that the file is 'Unrecognised'. One out of the three pictures is unprotected, but the other two are protected. When I try to delete the unprotected picture, it doesn't work. When I try to 'Unprotect' the protected pictures, it doesn't work either. Please help and I am grateful for any suggestions. :) Thanks.

It sounds as if the card was not formatted for the camera before it was put to use. My suggestion is that you attempt to download the images that you do have to the computer, then format the memory card. Always format a new card and after each time you download pictures from the card to the computer.

I need drive kodak EasyShare C143 Digital Camera

You may download Kodak software from here.

Bear in mind that you don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Kodak EasyShare C143 Digital Camera formatting

Check your card isn't set to write protect then try re-formatting again in the camera, if it still doesn't work, try another card. The card you're using could be faulty.

How do I delete photos from my Kodak C143

To delete individual pictures, press the delete button while viewing the picture. The delete button is the top button on the "button bar", marked with a trash can.

To delete all pictures, format the internal memory and/or memory card. Memory cards should be formatted each time you finish downloading your pictures to your computer.

By Mistake i happened to lose all data/pictures form my kodak Easyshare C143 and would like to recover them. Please help

All your pictures and data are saved on the memory card of your digital camera automatically. So you can recover pictures from memory card with data recovery software.I have a professional program on my computer that can recover data after deeply scanning your memory card to look for lost data. But you had better have stopped using the memory card of your camera. Because, once the pictures were overwritten by new ones, they are gone for good.By the way,you can download it and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your lost pictures can be recovered.Get it from http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm

Will not take pictures camera saying full when memory card is not full also when no memory card is in camera

Your camera is talking about its internal memory. If you want the card to start working, you must get rid of the pics on the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions.

I CAN'T UPLOAD PICTURES IN MY C813 CAMERA'S INTERNAL MEMORY TO MY COMPUTER

Hi

I am not sure the Kodak EasyShare C813 can transfer files straight from the internal memory. Many cameras need you to copy the images on the internal memory to a memory card and then you can transfer them over.

On the Kodak you can copy (not move) them to a memory card by following the instructions below:

Copy pictures/videos:

1 Press the Review button, then the Menu button.

2 Press ^ v to highlight Copy, then press OK.

3 Press ^ v to highlight an option.

4 Press OK.

Hope that helps

David

I want to put the pictures in the internal memory into my memory card, so I can print them all at once. How do you get the camera to transfer them to the memory card?

Insert a memory card. Press the Review button then press the Menu button. Use up/down to highlight "Copy To" then press OK. Use up/down to highlight the destination then press OK. Use up/down to highlight and option then press OK.

This procedure copies files. You'll want to delete them from internal memory once you're sure you've got them printed.
