1.This issue can occur if the micro-switch on the bottom of the mouse is not released. Use a pin or a pen to try to release the button if it is depressed.

2.Try to insert new batteries.

3.Download latest software http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/downloads

USB light for microsoft 3000 wireless keyboard/mouse not turning on. Keyboard and mouse not responding at all. Tried everything I could think of.

Go to Microsoft/help/support.com and you should find a solution. Sounds like you don't have the right hardware or a bad software pack. Also make sure the computer recognizes it. Try another keyboard if you have access to one. You'll probably have to go to another computer to get instructions and print then out and maybe you can do it with a mouse if it works and another keyboard doesn't work. If you can get another keyboard to work and download the drivers for the 3000 make sure the 3000 is plugged into the computer when you download the driver for the 3000.. They do have downloads for the 3000 I just went and looked and the last keyboard I had was a 3000 and I downloaded files from Microsoft. Hope this cures your Microsoft headache; dhgill1949

Please make sure that after installing the ram all the wires were properly installed to their respective places.

Usually the wireless adapter is mounted close to ram slots, so while installing the ram you might have jumped the wire.

Hope this will help.

Hi, I have a dell vostro 1015 laptop.....while installing audio driver it prompts an error message that 'Driver installation failed : Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver' i have tried all...

I bought new laptop Dell Vostro 1015, and met few problems. First was with wireless and second one with audio. I was searching for solutions over the internet, and found wireless drivers. I also realize how to install audio.

Here is my solution regarding AUDIO:
- Try to obey all instructions and sequence that is described in "Download section".
- If you still have problems you need to:
- download UAA BUS driver from microsoft, here is the link - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-47284-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1842155
- Install the driver, and reboot.
- Install drivers from Dell web page.

Here is what i found regarding wireless:
- go here http://www.devid.info/en/30/
- download drivers, install them through device manager
- reboot and be happy...ant doubt mail me [email protected]
