I have a Superba dishwasher. The glasses on the top shelf are not getting clean. What might be wrong and how can I fix this? Thank you

If you have hard water glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is to add some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1/4 of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. After that it is recommended to use a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.

Bosch SHZ46B does not seem to heat water properly - only to 120F. Glasses and dishes are left with whitish film.

Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.

Suddenly my dishwasher is not getting the dishes really clean. Glasses have heavy fogging and are spotted.

Have you recently topped up the salt drawer?? if so, you may not have closed the top tightly... by not closing it really tight can make too much salt go into the cycle thus creating cloudy/dirty looking glassware. Hope this helps x

I get a film on the inside of dishwasher as well as dishes at the end of a cycle. You can really see the cloudy film on glasses. Dishwasher is only 18 months old.

Cloudy film is usually from hard water. Or it means the dishes arn't drying properly. you wanna make sure your using jet dry and that your not using liquid soap. Liquid soap is a killer of dishwashers and creates mineral deposits. If you have hard water getting a water softener helps too. Theres a cleaning agent called dishwasher magic that works to clean the dishwasher . You wanna make sure your heater is coming on too.

Glasses are not clean, come out cloudy and someimes have small food particles left on glasses

When the glassware comes out with a film on them (cloudy) the most common problem is a failed heating element. When it is repaired, the wash water will be heated to the proper temp to activate the dishwasher powder/detergent.

Please report back here what you find. OK?

Cutlery is cloudy and dirty, some food is dried onto knives and forks. Cups and glasses are cloudy and not clean on inside. Coffee or tea stains are not removed. Plates and soup bowls seem OK , and water...

they must have changed the way they treat the water in your area. those spots are caused by hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product out for this problem. it filters the water going into your dishwasher leaving them spot free and crystal clear with every load. you will love the way your dishes look.
