FACEBOOK provides support for forgotten passwords and deactivated accounts. Go to the following internet links on FACEBOOK for help.

Quoting from FACEBOOK link above: "You can reactivate your Facebook account at any time by logging back into Facebook or by using your Facebook account to log in somewhere else.
Remember that you'll need to have access to the email or mobile number you use to log in. If you can't remember your password, you can request a new one. If you can't access the email associated with your account, learn how to reactivate your account."

Deactivating & Deleting Accounts

Deactivating Accounts

What's the difference between deactivating and deleting my account?
How do I deactivate my account?
You can deactivate your account temporarily and choose to come back whenever you want.
To deactivate your account:
  1. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Security in the left column
  4. Choose Deactivate your account then follow the steps to confirm
If you deactivate your account your profile won't be visible to other people on Facebook and people won't be able to search for you, though some information, such as messages you sent to friends, may still be visible to others.
If you'd like to come back to Facebook anytime after you've deactivated your account, you canreactivate your account by logging in with your email and password. Your profile will be restored in its entirety (ex: friends, photos and interests). Remember that you will need to have access to the login email address for your account in order to reactivate it.
If you can't get into your account, you can reset your password.
To permanently delete your account:
Permanently deleting your account means you will not ever be able to reactivate or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. If you would like to permanently delete your account with no option for recovery, please contact us.

Facebook password problems

Some users decide to close or deactivate their Facebook accounts when they get tired of the social networking site.

Facebook automatically stores the data for closed and deactivated accounts so that users can reopen them again easily if they have a change of heart.

If you previously closed or deactivated your Facebook account but now want to reopen it, you can easily reactivate the account by logging in with your old username and password.

Launch your Web browser, and navigate to Facebook.com.

Type your username into the relevant input field on the Facebook login page. The username is the email address that you used when you first registered the account.

Type your password into the relevant input field.
Enter the password carefully, because Facebook uses case-sensitive passwords.

Click the "Login" button.
This will open and reactivate your Facebook account.

You can access your Facebook friends list and all previously uploaded data, including status updates, notes, photos and videos.

My facebook account was disabled..how can i solved this problem?.

Hi john

"Disabled" is an ambiguous term.

Here's what you need to know.

Two Options are available for users who wish, for whatever reason, to stop using their Facebook account. From your question, I would expect you to choose the 2nd option but I will give you both options so you have all the necessary information in your possession to make a fully informed decision that best suits your circumstances.

The first option is Deactivation which, from 24 hours after deactivation, makes your account invisible but the account can be reactivated, restoring exactly the same settings, associations, links and other content at any point after 24 hours from deactivation.

The second option is Permanent Deletion which, as long as you do not attempt to access the account within 14 days of deletion, completely removes your account and all its settings, associations, links and other content. The only way to for a user to participate fully in the Facebook community, beyond 14 days after having deactivated an account, would be to open a brand new account with new settings, associations, links and other content.

Deactivation

Account > Security > Deactivate your account > select reason for deactivation > confirm > password > confirm > after 24 hours, if required, account can be reactivated by following the same procedure (Reactivate your account).

Permanent Deletion

Facebook Help Center > (click on link) https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account> type "delete my account" in the Search Box > Submit > password > copy and enter 'Captcha' security code > OK > confirm? > OK > do not access the Facebook account again within 14 days.

I hope this answer is clear and that it helps.

I wish to terminate my Facebook account

If you deactivate your account from the "Deactivate Account" section on theAccount page, your profile and all information associated with it are immediately made inaccessible to other Facebook users. What this means is that you effectively disappear from the Facebook service. However, if you want to reactivate at some point, we do save your profile information (friends, photos, interests, etc.), and your account will look just the way it did when you deactivated if you decide to reactivate it. Many users deactivate their accounts for temporary reasons and expect their information to be there when they return to the service.

If you do not think you will use Facebook again and would like your account deleted, please keep in mind that you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added. If you would like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, log in to your account and then submit your request by clicking here.

If you are currently unable to access your account, you will need to reset your password in order to log in. In order to do so, click the "Forgot your password?" link that appears above the field where you would normally enter your password. Once you’ve followed the instructions to reset your password and can log in, you can deactivate or delete your account using the steps outlined above. http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=13016
