Hi, every time we are playing a game, it freezes. Our friend then told us that you don't pull the plug out while the system is on. Nowadays, we don't pull out the plug, but the games still freeze. Do you have any advice? Thanks!

Madden 09 itself has a lot of issues. EA is supposed to come up with a patch to fix the freezing issue for Madden 09.
There are a lot of unhappy madden 09 owners outh there.
As far as freezing on any game that sounds like a bluray diode issue or overheating issues.
keep the console in a well vented are (maybe even add a small portable fan from walmart that can help cool down your system.
PS3 Freezing
If your PS3 is freezing up on games then it can
be solved just by stopping the heat. It is not that tough to fix!

I have the same issue. I just got Madden 09 and it freezes mid-game. I'm getting REALLY pissed at this console.
play one full game and sometime in the 2nd game their is a freeze. usually it happens the play after the opening kickoff.
happened twice already as soon as i use the hit stick it freezes in place. PS button works and i can turn the console off but nothin else . I've had ps3 for a year and a half and this just started recently.
