The easy answer is check program 803. It should be set to music1. The harder one is that you need to look at some 990 programs. Most notably area 7 bit 7 for a "1".

How to disable Prius back up beep

This is a pretty easy fix.

1. Keep you foot on the break and turn the car on.
2. Press the odometer/trip button until your dash displays the odometer mileage.
3. Turn the car off and while keeping your foot on the break, restart the car by pressing the on button.
4. Immediately press and hold down the Odometer/trip button for at least 10 seconds.
5. While still holding down the Odometer/trip button put the car in reverse. You will hear the reverse beeping. Then push the park button.
6. You can now release the Odometer/trip button and if you keep pushing the button you can toggle the beep to come on or turn off by looking on your dash. It should say "b-on" or "b-off".
7. Toggle it to the "b-off" setting and put your car in reverse and that annoying beep should be turned off.

How do you format a ps3

Ok, follow these simple steps :

Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby mode (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep once when you press it, once more 5 seconds later and then once more and it will turn back off onto standby. Release the power button.

Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep once when you press it, beep again 5 seconds later then it will beep twice quickly. When you hear these 2 quick beeps let go of the power button.

Step 4. Your PS3 will start up asking you to connect a controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this and then go on to step 5.

Step 5. A menu will load up. Select option 5 "Restore PS3 System". This will format the PS3 and reset all settings back to default.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

I turn my ps3 on, and the main menu never shows up. all i see is that wavy thing (that the menu usually shows up over) and nothing happens. then the only way i can turn the system off is by flipping the...

Ok, what you need to do is re-install the system software, I will talk you through it. WARNING! This will erase your save games and other data you have on the PS3!!

Step 1. Turn the PS3 on at the back but leave it in standby mode (red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it, beep 5 seconds later and then once more 5 seconds after that. Release the power button.
Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep once when you first press it, beep again 5 seconds later and then about another 5 seconds later it will beep twice quickly. When you hear these 2 quick beeps, let go of the power button.
Step 4. The PS3 will start up and ask you to connect a controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this and then move onto the next step.
Step 5. The recovery menu will load. Select option 5 "Restore PS3 System". The console will go through an automated restore sequence and re-write its software. It will then restart and hopefully after you have entered the time, date and username information start normally.

Ge fourline telephone 29488GE2-A There are annoying loud beeps on other lines when one line is on hold. How do I get rid of it? You cannot talk on the lines until someone picks up the call that is placed...

The phone generates a low beep tone about once every 10 seconds for the person on hold. This lets them know that they were not hung up on but at the same time it is not needed if you have music like a typical office puts on the holding lines. I talked with the manufacturer and they told me that this feature can not be disabled through programming. There is however a on-hold aftermarket adapter that can be placed in front of the music system that will eliminate the tone (Invotel AudioImage SX4400EZ). The cost we paid for this device was about $200 which has a audio input and in/out plugs for all 4 lines. This aftermarket system is designed to replace the beeps with music you provide through the audio input.

Very annoying beep when finished programme

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops completely (5-10 secs). Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.

RCA 4 line phone

Hi Richman,

If you have more than one phone line which I assume that you do -if one party has not completely hung up the handset after putting someone on hold when you pick it up on your end you will hear that beeping noise that you are talking about. Have them pick back up the line while you are on it and replace the handset again on thier phone to disconnect completely.

I hope this helps (trial and error)
Thanks
