To get the printer to factory setting you have to do a parameter clear.
Switch on with buttons FEED ans PAUSE pressed.
When (1) Diag VXXX is dosplayed release the buttons.
press on FEED several times to have (6) Ram clear the press pause.
With Restart button select parameter clear
Press PAUSE twice and wait for Complete on the display
Switch off and on

Reset printer

Do not restore - this is the factory default setting. Do not restore keeps the user defined settings.

Restore - returns all printer settings to the factory default settings except the Network/Ports menu settings. All downloads stored in RAM are deleted.

changed to the factory settings. These settings will stay until you change them again.
a Press Print Setting.
b Press a or b to display Factory Reset.
c Press Factory Reset.
d Press Yes to confirm.
e Press Stop/Exit.

Trying to copy a document. I'ts 8.5 x 11. It's only copying the upper right corner of the document. Can't figure out why. Help.

Reset the printer to default settings.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Go to Defaults.
  3. Go to Set Defaults.
  4. Select Use Factory.
  5. Hit Ok to reset the printer to factory default settings.
  6. Reconfigure the printer with the printer settings (Country, Time, Date, etc.)
  7. Try copying.

NOTE: Wireless connection won't be affected when resetting printer to default settings.
